Tacos with Friends continues at Ixchel this February and March with a special collaboration from Manolo de la Torre, aka Taco Manny, the chef behind Peckham’s cult favourite Guacamoles. Known for his uncompromising, hand pressed tacos and deeply rooted approach to Mexican street food, Manny joins Head Chef Ximena Gayosso Gonzalez for an exclusive kitchen takeover each Tuesday.
Together, they present a limited edition taco inspired by mariscos a la Veracruzana, a nostalgic nod to Manny’s home state and the flavours of his childhood. Prawns are simmered in a spiced tomato and olive sauce, served on warm tortillas with Ixchel’s house salsas. Just 20 portions are available each evening, making it a rare, one night a week special.
Available Tuesdays from 17th February to 10th March, book your table and taste a little piece of Veracruz, only at Ixchel.

Join us for Valentine’s weekend dinner, an elevated evening curated by Head Chef Ximena Gayosso González.
Enjoy a glass of Grande Reserve Rosé Crémant de Bourgogne on arrival, followed by Para Picar favourites and standout main dishes such as Pink Mole Chicken with Roasted Salsify and Green Salad or Wagyu Chuck Eye with Chilmole Jus and White Truffle, served with signature sides.
The evening concludes with Chocolate Tamal with Roasted Corn Ice Cream, a fitting end to a memorable celebration.

Celebrate Valentine’s weekend with a refined lunch curated by Head Chef Ximena Gayosso González.
Begin with a glass of Grande Reserve Rosé Crémant de Bourgogne, followed by vibrant Para Picar plates and a main of Free Range Grilled Achiote Chicken with Rajas, Mexican Hummus and Pico de Gallo, served alongside Crispy Potatoes with Salsa Verde and Esquites with Chipotle Mayo, Lime Zest and Tajín.
Desserts include Tres Leches Cake and White Chocolate Dipped Strawberries, offering a relaxed yet indulgent way to mark the occasion.
